The Lutheran Chorale
The Lutheran Chorale - Denver, CO
From its first season in 1976, The Lutheran Chorale has
shared its love of music with the front range community, performing a rich
variety of musical works, with a special emphasis on the abundant choral
tradition of the Lutheran Heritage. Under the recent direction of conductor
David Hodel, the Chorale has performed major works by composers such as
Bach, Handel, Brahms, and Verdi, as well as contemporary anthems,
spirituals, secular pieces and motets.
The Chorale numbers approximately 50 members, and has
also recently added friends and voices in collaboration with local area choirs and The
Lakewood Symphony. Performances include 6-8 major concerts a each season as
well as performing for special events such as fund-raisers, civic
organizations, dedications, conventions, etc. The Chorale has sung the
National Anthem at major Denver
sports stadiums. World tours

anyone who enjoys learning and singing great music with singers of all ages.

No auditions are required.
Rehearsals are on Monday evenings (September - mid-May) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We meet at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO. The first rehearsal is the Monday after Labor Day in September (11th) for the fall semester, and the second Monday in January (8th) for the spring semester. Dues are $35 per semester (scholarships and student discounts are available).
